The Hill Institute proudly presents the GVL Starts Venture Showcase—formerly known as Demo Day. The event has been reimagined with a fresh name to highlight that it’s more than demos; it’s a celebration of founders, a spotlight on ideas, and a driver of Greenville’s entrepreneurial future.

Unlike a typical business event, the Showcase will feature great food, cold drinks, and live music from DJ Chief. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet 36 of Greenville’s boldest founders, hear their stories, and experience firsthand the ventures shaping the community’s future.

From the Hill Institute’s eighth cohort, four finalists will pitch live for three $5,000 startup grants: one in the High Growth/Scalable category, one Legacy–Lifestyle Business, and one selected by the audience. By attending, community members play a role in fueling the next wave of companies that will make Greenville stronger, smarter, and more connected.
