His expertise is in finance and general management, having 30 years of executive officer experience and 12 years of business consulting in the service, distribution, and manufacturing space. Today, he volunteers as a mentor to small and medium business executives and is a board member of Community Works.

Mr. Cleys has a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University of Chicago and is a CPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) and is a past member of Financial Executives International (FEI), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
