These experiences are the driving force behind his mission to offer equal access to financial services for the unbanked and credit invisible.
Pedro founded Susu Lend, a fintech company dedicated to eliminating predatory lending practices and fostering financial literacy. By integrating innovative social underwriting technology with traditional credit assessments, Susu Lend provides fair and affordable loans to underserved communities. This empowers individuals to achieve financial stability and unlock opportunities for long-term growth and inclusion in the broader financial system.
In addition to his work with Susu Lend, Pedro mentors underrepresented youth through the Student DREAMers Alliance, helping them achieve their educational and professional goals. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Pedro has called Greenville, SC, his home since 2010. He holds MBAs from Cornell University and Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science in IT Business Management from Western Governors University.
